Background Ever since 18 year old Allison Journey turned 8 years old she has had the passion, determination and the dream to become one of the greatest racecar drivers who has ever lived. She also takes that same drive and commitment to the classroom, stage, and fields of both marching band and lacrosse. School for Allison has always ccmes first as she strives to hold her 4.0 GPA through her last year at Thurston High School. Allison is a very active person, currently captain of the high school lacrosse team, yearbook editor in chief and loves to dance with colorguard. In the past 8 years quarter midgets have taken her to 13 different states with 5 national titles between both asphalt and dirt. Never content with where she is at, always striving for the next level, Allison is running a combination of both open and Ford Focus midgets this season with testing of a late model on the side. Nothing is ever handed to you in life but with enough drive, courage, and dedication anything is possible both on and off the track. That is why she will succeed as she moves through the ranks to NASCAR. "The person who wins is not only the one with the fastest car but the one who is determined not to lose," Dale Earnheart Senior.
